Whitchurch farm has been farmed by the James family since 1888 so is a real family home. It is currently run by William and Elizabeth who took over the B&B 20 years ago from William's parents.
We are still very much a proper working farm running 1,000 sheep, 100 cows and calves and growing numerous different crops to feed the livestock. At Christmas time we sell our own reared free range bronze turkeys.
This rural property is well of the beaten track, but still very close to Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds. We are situated close to 3 wedding venues:- Talton house, Ettington Park Hotel and Blackwell Grange for guests who need overnight accommodation.
Our garden is available for guests to sit and relax in, with comfortable garden furniture. During the lighter nights you can have a delightful walk across the footpath which goes from our farm across the River Stour and into Alderminster and enjoy the delights of The Bell dinning pub.
